RQM Books Desktop and On-Premise editions provide a perpetual Windows licence for customer-controlled infrastructure. Normal accounting can operate without continuous internet, while activation, updates, email, AI and e-invoicing can use optional connected services.

Customers can run a single-computer installation, an office network or a private server. The RQM Storage Connector keeps document files on the selected customer drive, server, NAS or customer-owned cloud account, with quotas and backup controls.
